This is my 1st boat and just wanted something to get back to spots big boats can't get to. Padded seats would be nice but that can always be purchased extra. Definately stable on the water doesn't give you the feeling your going to tip over. Put a minn kota 55 thrust pushes it along fine.
Unloading it by myself is easy but loading it can by a challenge without a trailor. Fits in a full size pickup bed fine.

Perfect for the saltwater flats, and shallows off Padre Island. The 3HP outboard gives it plenty of range if your patient and paddles (requires two people) get you into very shallow waters. The big shrimp boats in the channel barely rock the boat. Tons of fun. Could use some pole holders in the rear. [$]

Just bought one of these boats off of a friend and took it out for the first time last night. And this thing is awesome!! Handles great with a trolling motor and is the perfect fishing boat for 2 people. Very sturdy i could even stand up and fish in it. I would highly recommend this boat to anyone who wants to get out on the water and not break the bank.

This boat is awesome by yourself or w/ another guy, just move the front seat up or back to even out weight, it's very stable, floats plenty of weight and is easy to deal with if you fish alone, (ie. easy to load in a pickup)! I have a 40 lb foot control trolling motor and it moves the boat quite handily...buy one, you'll love it!

This is a good boat if you only plan on using a trolling motor. Put a 3.5 hp nissan outboard on it and the transmission started to bow and warp when I was at 1/4 trottle. The transmission isn't designed very well for a gas powered motor.

I've had several pond boats over 20+ years. This is the best by far. Many of the options available in other boats don't really add any value and just take up space. The extra couple of feet makes a big difference when there's 2 in the boat and when you're alone you don't have to worry about the weight load as much.

Pros: Very light and easy to get in and out of ponds/lakes. VERY sturdy - not tipsy. With a decent trolling motor - goes very good. Great little boat - especially for the price!!!! Cons: Seats aren't attached.
